West Indies vs South Africa
STUMPS, 2nd Test, Gros Islet, Jun 18 - 22 2021,
West Indies 149 South Africa 298
Day 2 - West Indies trail by 149 runs. CRR: 2.75
Quinton de Kock carried on with the revival of his batting form as he got agonisingly close to another century. He was caught on 96. Rabada made a quick 21 to get the Proteas close to a competitive 300 runs.
The Proteas bowling attack fired from the start when Kagiso Rabada dismissed Kraigg Brathwaite off the first ball of the innings. Wiaan Mulder called "keg ball" before the first ball, which meant that he had to buy the entire team a round of drinks because of the first ball wicket. All the bowlers pitched in with regular wickets. Wiaan Mulder got the Dukes ball to move away nicely and bagged three wickets in an excellent spell. Looks like this test might also be over in three days.
